Step by step guide of what happens if you opt in or out of the Socialized Flight School.
✅ Step-by-Step: Opting In to Socialized veNFT
You choose to reinvest rewards → A portion of your weekly rewards is converted to AERO automatically.
You opt in to the Socialized veNFT → Instead of going to your personal veNFT, the reinvested AERO is sent to a shared Community veNFT.
Your AERO is pooled with others → All users who opted in contribute to a grouped AERO lock.
The Community veNFT aims to lock 2500+ AERO → Once the group hits 2500 AERO, the Community veNFT becomes eligible for Aerodrome’s Flight School rewards.
Rewards are distributed proportionally → Everyone in the pool earns a share of the Flight School boost based on how much AERO they contributed.
Your contribution earns you a share → Even small deposits count. If you put in 1% of the AERO, you get 1% of the rewards.
❌ Step-by-Step: Opting Out of Socialized veNFT
You choose to reinvest rewards → A portion of your weekly rewards is converted into AERO.
You do not opt into the Community veNFT → Your reinvested AERO is locked directly into your personal veNFT.
Your AERO is tracked individually → It does not contribute to the shared Community veNFT lock.
If your personal veNFT reaches 2500+ AERO: → You become eligible for Flight School. → The Flight School bonus AERO you receive is
Automatically added to the Community veNFT
You receive shares in the Community veNFT based only on the amount of that Flight School reward. → Your initial reinvested AERO stays in your personal veNFT → Your Flight School AERO earns shared yield with the community
If you never reach 2500 AERO: → You’re not eligible for Flight School → You do not contribute to or receive anything from the Community veNFT → You miss the additional Flight School rewards entirely
