40acres Automated Voting

40 Acres automatically manages borrowers voting power. Each week 40acres protocol votes on the top 5-10 pools based on fees. 40acres focuses on pool that have the most historical data, deep liquidity and consistent fees.

Manual Voting

Users are able to opt in to manual voting. When manual voting is enabled, veNFTs can select and vote on up to 12 pools from a list of pre-approved pools.

Whitelisted Pool criteria is as follows

• Must have at least 12 weeks of trading history that meet the following criteria

• Pools must have $50k or more in TVL

• No token can have a fee switch

  • Additionally, if we are not able to do DD on a meme coin or small cap we will not add it until we have completed DD

• Bribes/Fees must exceed $300

Manual Voting Key Points

• First Epoch: Submit your vote by Wednesday at 9:25pm UTC (2 hours and 35 minutes before epoch flip)

  • If user does not vote before Wednesday 9:25pm UTC, 40Acres will continue voting on users behalf.

• Second Epoch Onward: Users can vote any time before Wednesday 10:59pm UTC

  • Users can check if they are in manual or automatic voting on mange veNFT page

• Idle Reset: If you don’t vote for 2 epochs, your veNFT will automatically opt out of manual voting and 40Acres will begin voting on your behalf.

  • Idle Reset is a safety mechanism to insure veNFTS vote on productive pools and do not continue to vote on depreciated or non ideal pools
